Dakar, Senegal

The view from our balcony was all we saw of Senegal. There were political protests through Dakar, and it was decided it was not safe for us to disembark. Here is a link of a news article about the protests: Senegal Protests: Dozens Arrested in Latest Flare-Up (voanews.com)


We did stay at the port all day hoping to get our container of supplies that we had missed in Sydney. However, the port never released them to us. We'll try again in Malaga, Spain. I was disappointed as we had our final safari booked for today.
